Literature Text

I dreamed of flowers
in an endless field,
through a path of love
and a promise sealed.

The blooms themselves called out my name,
the blooms themselves dispelled all pain,
and in the sunshine of the endless walk,
the flowers bloomed, and grew, and taught.

I knew that somewhere
beneath it all,
the source of living
did call, did call.

Through an endless summer of an endless path
with endless flowers from an endless cache,
I walked along with blooms of gold,
where love itself was bright and bold.

I dreamed of flowers
in an endless field;
they dreamed of me
as I paused to kneel.

And there I prayed on solid ground,
as dreams and blooms went round and round;
a promised path that raised me high,
through blooms so light they helped me fly.

I walked along
with a perfect ease,
and the perfect view
did please, did please.

The rhyming isn't jarring at all and the poem flows beautifully. Very well written piece.
